Steve grew up in New England.  He developed an early connection to residential architecture through his father and grandfather - both witnessing and participating in his family’s construction business throughout high school and college.  “There was a rigor and dedication to craft that I appreciated deeply.  The process of construction was exciting, but I could see that in design there were layers of meaning that were not yet fully understood by my untrained eye - I knew that I wanted to learn more.”     

Steve received his Bachelors of Architecture at Syracuse University and found his way out to the Hamptons, where he is once again immersed in the world of residential architecture. “I love the proximity to our projects, and the ability to build relationships with our clients, consultants and builders. The hands-on approach to the design and construction process affords a really unique opportunity to create really special projects.”
