Born in Mexico and raised in Brazil, Steven graduated from Syracuse University’s School of Architecture in 2017 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a minor in Construction Management. His capstone thesis theorized a future where remote work capabilities and other variables result in the obsolescence of the office building.
Upon graduating, he moved to New York City to join Peter Pennoyer Architects. In 2020, he was chosen to lead the design for a competition calling for a monumental clock to be suspended at Moynihan Train Hall. His winning design was constructed and installed in December 2021.
